CAR (Conference-Adjusted Rankings) is a Stats Assistance project operated by Relicheck LLC. This notice explains CAR email subscriptions and Google advertising on Stats Assistance.

Email subscriptions

When you subscribe, we save your email address, signup time, subscription choice and status so we can send a welcome email and ranking updates. We use ListPulse to manage CAR subscribers and our email service to deliver messages. The signup system also keeps a temporary hashed network address to limit repeated requests.

Use the unsubscribe link in a CAR email to stop ranking updates. An unsubscribe record may be retained to honor your choice. For questions or a request to remove your subscription information, email info@relicheck.com.

Google advertising and cookies

We are setting up Google AdSense. Availability of ads depends on Google's approval and configuration. When Google advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising providers may use cookies or similar identifiers. These can support ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalized ads based on earlier visits to this website or other websites.

You can manage Google's personalized advertising through My Ad Center. Other participating advertising companies provide choices at YourAdChoices. Declining personalization does not necessarily remove all ads.

We selected Google's consent-management message for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where the message is displayed, you can consent, decline, or manage your choices. Browser settings also let you manage or delete cookies.

Website operation and external services

Our hosting service processes connection information such as network addresses, requested pages, browser information and request times to deliver the website and maintain server logs. We use website traffic reports to understand readership. The live scoreboard requests scores from ESPN, and external links take you to services with their own privacy practices.

RSS

You do not need to give CAR your email address to use the RSS feed. Your chosen feed reader has its own privacy settings and policies.
